Snowgazer
'Snowgazer' is from the Within The Wildwood series – a collection of drawings inspired by English wildlife and folklore.
A favourite British bird, robins are shrouded in folklore and old tales, and have become legendary in numerous mythologies around the world. They have been given many symbolic associations throughout history, including charity, compassion, both good and bad luck, as well as fire and death. They are also regularly considered as symbols of winter, Yuletide and Christmastime.
